Jobless since 3 months - senior position.

 Career question asked by: Samyuktha| Posted on: 8/17/2012 5:13:48 AM | Views: 2239 | Points: 30 |  Print |

Hi,

One of my friend is a project manager by designation in an MNC.
Unfortunately he has been on no salary mode since 3 months as they donot have projects.
May be the company policy. The person is trying outside and his technology has no wide opening as of now may be due to market condition down. To my surprise he has got the feedback also good.

But he is still with the role of his company who is not paying him since 3 months. his technology is Base24 and Tandem which is a niche skill.
He has been also upgrading himself with testing technology.
Kindly advice if there is a chance for him to get a job again ?
My friend is fully tensed and cant express how much stress he has.

-Thanks
Samyuktha

Sainath's Advice on Sunday, October 14, 2012 :
Hi,

I would suggest that your friend should look for job opportunities in his niche area itself before shifting into anything else. Since these skills are connected to payment systems, some opportunity or other should be available. Please use tools like LinkedIn apart from traditional job search approaches. Action is the best antidote to fear and tension - please start taking a lot of massive action in the direction of getting a new job and the rest should fall in place.

Regards,
Sainath Sherigar,

Hi Samyuktha,
Your friend better to find jobs in the area which he had experience. And tell him that not to be disappointed. It may takes some time to be placed in present situation..Send me the resume if trusted,so that i will forward it to my buddies.

Thanks & Regards,
