Interview with Mr. Kunal Chowdhury by Mr. Shivprasad Koirala.
Describe about yourself

Kunal: I am Kunal Chowdhury, basically from Tripura and currently working as a Software Engineer at Pune. I am a Microsoft MVP (Silverlight), Code Project MVP, Mentor, Speaker in various Microsoft Events and a Blogger by passion. I blog my findings at http://www.kunal-chowdhury.com. I also tweet. I also have another site http://www.silverlight-zone.com, where I aggregate all Silverlight, Windows Phone 7 and XNA articles/posts, so that, you can find them easily from a single site.
 
How did you get MVP award and which trade ?

Kunal: I blog my findings on Silverlight in my Blog, write articles regularly in various community portals and try to help people in various forums by answering their queries. Based on my Technical expertise and contribution to the online and offline communities, Microsoft awarded me "Most Valuable Professional" Award on October 2010 in Silverlight Technology. Proud to be the 2nd Silverlight MVP in India.
 
Any inspirational moment you would like to share with developers ?

Kunal: I will say that, it was the award that I received from Microsoft as Silverlight MVP. I received it very quickly in my professional career.
 
Whats your advise for todays software professional ?

Kunal: Explore latest technologies, be sound in any one of the Technology that you like and share them to the community. The better you share, the better you learn. Follow my blog and tweets to stay tuned with my articles, tips and tutorials.
 
How do you manage personal and professional life ?

Kunal: I will say proper planning and time management. I prefer to work for the community in my free time.
 
Who is your favorite MVP ?

Kunal: Naming one is little bit difficult but if I search for my most favorite MVP, I will name Victor Gaudioso (who is also a Silverlight MVP) for his contribution. He guided me in various way during my career. Next, I will name Abhijit Jana (former MVP) for his regular support.
 
Where do you see yourself after 5 years ?.

Kunal: 
I want to see myself very close to other developers and Microsoft product team. Becoming a Technology Expert is one of my goal.
 
Your 1 big regret in life

Kunal: Unable to participate in the TechEd 2011 at Bangalore due to some personal work.
 
Your 1 big great decision

Kunal: Sharing my knowledge to the community by writing blogs in my free time at home.
 
Which technology do you like most ?

Kunal: I like Silverlight and currently started exploring Windows Phone 7 which is also based on Silverlight.

He is quiet , speaks less , but when he speaks people have to listen. In such a less age to get MVP is a big credit by itself.

Great going....Will love to read windows 7 programming from his blog.
