List of Softwares In your system

This program will help us to find the list of softwares installed in the system. We can even search for particular softwares by their name. The search is case insensitive and is a like search.

By default the software list (that will contain the software names) will be saved in D:\SoftwareList.txt. But we can specify the file names and location in the save dialog that will be prompted upon clicking on the Save to disk button.

Hi Biswas,

It is great. I also read your tutorial about Lightswitch. I am developing an application which takes input from various devices like Finger Print reader, document scanner, barcode reader, smartcard reader/writer, etc. I believe Lightswitch will support all these as a desktop application (2 tier) with multiple databases (SQL Server Express 2008 R2).

Could you kindly confirm that it will support these devices too. Will the old drivers work (it works for VS 2005/2008).
