Holding a DataSet in a Temporary DataSet

There are two buttons, RunBtn and ResultBtn on a form. On RunBtn there is a method Run() which is being called which fetched the data from the database and store in the DataSet. Now if
we select any value from the list of values returned from the query and again want to see the result..then we click on the ResultBtn, which again calls the Run().then it again execute the query and follow the same process of RunBtn. But I want that the value stored in the DataSet on RunBtn should be displayed instead of again going for the query execution..Means I want to hold that DataSet values in temporary DataSet. In this way i didn't need to rerun the query.

Please Guide me..
