how to play my video in web page? and which format (.flv,.mp4,.vlc....)video better any one help me give some idea

Hi Gov.net,

If you are supporting HTML5, this article will help you http://www.dotnetfunda.com/articles/article1764-how-to-play-audio-in-the-html5-and-how-to-control-the-audio-play-using-in.aspx. Despite the fact that it is for audio, just replace the audio tag with video and it will work as it is. You may additionally specify width and height in pixel for the video element.

I think this is the easiest way to play the video in the web page. The format accepted in video tag for HTML5 is .mp4., wmv and more (I am not sure about all the formats but it depends on the browser. You may find more about it).

Apart from that you have Flash player, Silverlight player but they are dependent on browser plug-ins.
