where to store session time out value

i want to set session timeout value to expire a session .For this i would like to know that where to set timeout in web.config or global.asax

try this,

<compilation debug="true"/>
<authentication mode="Forms"/>
<sessionState mode="InProc" cookieless="false" timeout="1">
</sessionState>
</system.web>

Or

<sessionState mode="SQLServer"
stateConnectionString="tcpip=192.168.1.1:42424"
sqlConnectionString="data source=192.168.1.1; Integrated Security=SSPI"
cookieless="false"
timeout="20"/>
