Hi Friends,

My questions might sound blunt for some of you. Please help me out.

I have 8+ years of IT experience. I am not much into IT management side. I love to be a developer and have tremendous interest in the technology. For the past 4 years I am totally out of .Net and was supporting some internal applications in my company.

I would like you people to help me out and guide me on how to proceed with my aspiration.

1) I want to learn hard code ASP.Net
2) Middle ware technologies like WCF, LINQ
3) SQL performance tuning and stuffs

Basically I want to move to a different company where they do a lot of coding and stuffs rather than talking & sending emails. With 8+ years of IT experience and less exposure to .Net technology, can I sustain in this industry if I stick with pure technical side? Please guide me on how to proceed with sharpening my skills. Where to start and how long to read? How do I gain real time exposure?

Your help is very much appreciated.

Yet another Desi IT girl.
