i have to install iis for windows 7 home 4edtion
how can i do that
becduaz ftp server is not coming in iis node

you are not getting my point
in windows 7 home edtion we dont have ftp server option in iis node
for this i installed 7.5 iis but how can i use this

actually i want to upload a website created in asp.net
for this i have to test it on iis
now the pblm is in windows 7 home edition we dont have ftp server option in iis node
i installed iis 7.5 but i dont know how to use this .
so tell me how can i run iis management console in home edition
to create v.directory and test application

Hello Shanky.

You can directly open IIS management Console from Start -> Search -> Type IIS and you will get the IIS management Console and then you can follow my article to create a Virual Directory or to upload a Website.

You do not require ftp server option if you can physically control the server.

i tried but by writting iis in search but its not comming
there is a link com ing that runs home page of iis not management console where we can create virtual direcoty

ftp server option is not coming in iis node becauz windows 7 home edition dont have ths feature

Hi shanky,

Follow these steps - >

Open Browser, Type Localhost and see if you get IIS Home page if not then the IIS is not properly Installed.

Go to Control Panel -> Administartive tools -> Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager

If you see this then open it that will open IIS for you and then you can add your website following the article...

First check if The IIS is completey installed or not by going into the control panel and administrative tools

actually in adminstative tool there is no such option internet information services
actually when i goes in turn off/on feature thre is only option of iis no ftp server
i installed iis 7.5 express but i dont know how to run it and use it
