how can access network data base in local system?

I have 10 system all are connected with WI-FI SQL server 2008 r2 is install in one machin . i want to accecss the data base on other machine. It is passible to access? if yes then how?

hello bagesh,

yes you can do this

There are certain things that you have to make note

1.You will have to provide static Private IP to the machine in which SQL Server 2008 R2
2.Then you can access the database.

your connection string will be somewhat like this in web.config or app.config(if Windows Application)

<add name="cnnLocal" connectionString="Data Source=IP Address of machine where SQL is installed;Initial Catalog=YourDatabase;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=usernameofsql;Password=pwdforsqluser" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient"/>
