httpcompression in ajax supported pages

Whether we can do httpcompression in ajax supported pages asp.net pages. I'm using update panel and also xmlhttprequest object.

There is nothing to deal with GZip / Deflate headers with AJAX. If you see in the current browser supports Compression, you can compress the response and send.

Dont worry if it is coming from XMLHttpRequest or normal postback
