Table and Grid share some common functionality, but each is best suited for different scenarios. A Table is designed for use within flow content (see Flow Document Overview for more information on flow content). Grids are best used inside of forms (basically anywhere outside of flow content). Within a Flow Document, Table supports flow content behaviors like pagination, column re-flow, and content selection while a Grid does not. Adding more to Patriciacarter:
Table object defines a flexible grid area that contains rows and columns. At the contrast of the Grid object witch is defined in the System.Windows.Controls, the table object is defined in the System.Windows.Documents namespace. Even though the Table object and the Grid object have several common features, there are some differences such as the Grid objects elements are based on row and column index, in the other hand, the Table elements are based on a sub element that called TableRow, TableColumn and TableCell.
