Can anyone say what is "." in .Net?

we read it as dot net, but what actually the dot (.) means in the abbreviation.

If you asking in C#, then the dot (.) operator is used to access the member. refer the https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/6zhxzbds(VS.80).aspx for more info
