In short,

Tuple is the feature of C# that is used to return more than one value from a function or method.

ViewModel in perspective of ASP.NET MVC is class that contains properties of more than one Models (Entities of the project) and that is generally used to list the data in the Views where we need to get the data from more than one table/entities by joining them. Here is the example of ViewModel I got after searching http://techfunda.com/Howto/asp-net-mvc/262/list-data-from-more-than-one-tables-models.
