What is the Timeout Expired Exception in .net

Hi Reena ,

The Timeout Exception can come across different circumstances.

1. Session Timeout 2. Connection Timeout (from DB)

for session out exception you can handle

<customErrors defaultRedirect="Timeout.aspx" mode="On">
<error statusCode="408" redirect="Timeout.aspx"/>

2. For connection timeout check the sp it may having temp table or poor query.
