a Stored Procedure organizes the sql statement that needs to be run into one place and can be executed with one name and another stored procedure benefit , is that they are already compiled so there is not compilation done when executing the stored procedure , but if you concatenate the sql statements on fly and execute them or pass them to the command object, they will need to be compiled first.

hai

We can Define the Stored Procedure is a Precompiled collection of Transact-SQL statements with a name and processed as a unit.
Some of the advantages of using Stored procedure are:-
1.Fast acces to data.
2.Less Compile Time.
3.Modular Programming.
4.Consistency.
5.Speed.
6.Enhance Security mechanism.
