Good Day Sheo

All the assemblies have been deployed, i am just surprised. But now i have contacted the Hosting Company and they just gave me a clue with their respond, they say they have .net 3.5 on the server and i created the service with .net 4 and i think it is the problem, locally on my machine the service works because i have .net 3.4 and 4 installed.

Thanks

Vuyiswa,

There should not be any difference, just do it as if you are transferring the web application to the server. You will need to ensure that all referenced components or libraries are there on the server as well (bin folder).

Check your config file as well. If still not working, try placing a .txt file on the server and try accessing it, if it works look for any .aspx page. See if correct version of .NET Framework is installed on the server.

Let me know if you are able to resolve this error.

Thanks

Sheo Narayan
