HI Karthik

Generally web farm is implemented in the application having large user base. Web Farm means a single application hosted on multiple physical servers connected through network via load balancer. When that application is requested the request is served by multiple server based on which server is available to serve the request.

You can have a look at this article that describe Web Garden and Web Farm http://www.dotnetfunda.com/articles/article713-difference-between-web-farm-and-web-garden-.aspx.

Just for info, DotNetFunda.Com is hosted on Web Garden concept.

Thanks
