How to Convert and Make Connection to Oracle 10g with asp.net(c#)

Hi All,

I have an application developed in Oracle using oracle 10g....

But requirement is that how will i uesd that application in ASP.NET(C#) Using Oracle 10g Database .....

Only want to convert application code from oracle forms to asp.net(C#) ....


How i will make connection between ASP.NET and Oracle 10g database.

Senario is very much clear i used oracle 10g database with ASP.NET ...

Application is ready in Oracle n working fine but want to convert this application in ASP.NET(C#) using same Oracle DB...

I have no idea how to this n how to make connection string with oracle 10g database and also how to convert oracle Application code in asp.net .......

Please Help me in this problem...

It's urgent .....

You can either use OLEDB connection string to point to Oracle or check this link

Hi Madhu,

I check the Link but i can't understand that how i used oracle application in ASP.NET...

Whether i design all forms again in ASP.NET or there is way to Used Oracle application forms and code in ASP.NET..

Like if there is any V.B code we convert the V.B code in C# using converting Tools....

Please Help me in this...

As per my understanding only the Data Access Layer needs to be modified if you have used SQLConnection classes, But if you have used OLEDB then it should be fine with out much changes ... ?? And comming back to tools to convert vb.net code to c# we have many available on the net.
