Hi All,

We are having 64 bit Windows server 2003, where we have deployed our application. Everything works fine on development enviorment which is on 32 bit. but when we deploy on live server which is on 64 bit, VS2008. i am using OLEDB driver. i have tried using option x64 but i got an error "Microsoft.Jet.OleDb.4.0 provider is not registered on the local machine"

Thanks & Regards,
Jeevan.

Hi Yjeev...

Sorry for delay in replying. As the error suggest there is no provider available for 64 bit machine for Jet.Oledb. You will need to force your app to use 32 bit driver.

Read these posts, that has answer of it.

Hi,

As raja mentioned you need to force it to use the 32 bit driver. else you can download the 64bit driver and isntall in the machine to use it
