Hi,

For MS-Sql

Select Convert(Varchar,No) + Name as mergefield from tablename

For Oracle

Select No || Name as mergefield from tablename

Hi,

When you perform concatenate the 2 columns you need to check that 2 columns datatypes has been same or not.

If that is differ then you need to convert it into as per your desired format.

select col1+' - '+col2 from tablename
