Hi Anu_dgr8,

Generally many start with Framework level exam which is good in opting too. Because you will concentrate right from basic level. So start with 70-536 and later try 70-561 or 70-562 which gives a firm grip on ADO.NET so one framework level exam and one related to ADO.NET will not only make you strong at basic level but also makes a path for you to aim at new technologies like Silverlight and all.

Thanks,
Radha Srikanth

Hi Anu,

As per your skill set I would suggest you to go for first basic certification which is 70-536 - Application Development Foundation. This is certification is primary for all other MCTS like Web or Windows certifications.

hi,

You can find info related to the exam here
http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?id=70-536#tab4

Get the self paced training kit here
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923018

And i Suggest you to do not try any kind of dumps available. You get 90% if you read them but you cannot get at least 5% of actual subject. So i recommend you to follow self paced training kit and there are large amounts of free books available online.

Thanks,
Radha Srikanth

For your first question , i don't know you are from which city. So go through this link and apply online and you can schedule your exam.
http://www.prometric.com/default.htm

These exams can be scheduled at any given time provided the Pro metric center which you opt is open and working.

Now coming to the second question, No, the self paced training kit which is available online helps you to know the actual syllabus and makes you learn which areas are to be stressed.

My suggestion is write entire syllabus in a paper, go by each topic one after the another. Take your own time ,plan accordingly and schedule. Coming to books, you have heaps of content available online search and find appropriate one which you want. Revert me back if you need any assistance regarding this.

Note: Do not follow dumps. According to me there is no meaning in getting certified using dumps.

Thanks,
Radha Srikanth

HI,

Step 1 : First point your focus at IT drop down and select Microsoft as your option.

Step 2 : It will redirect to a page where it contains info related to Microsoft exams only. Then click start in the get stared panel.

Step 3 : Then it will redirect you to a page where, you get all the details like Locating the test site, search for seat availability etc.

Or else click this link directly
