Hi I am running into a problem. I have designed a basic application where people can search for exhibitor for companies etc..

Below is teh link for the web application

http://www.messefrankfurtmiddleeast.com/automechanika/AutoexhibitorList.aspx

It works fine in IE 7 but doent seem to work fine.

In IE 6 page downloads for first time but when when we search or try to navigate through

the page it download data but then display only about 10% of the page.

In tried to get abount and detected if user is using IE 6 then i redirect them to a pag

ewhich show list of all exhibitor but in this i have the same problem when a user refresh page

it display one part of page even though all data was downloaded.

Please hel me out in this.. I am not sur eis this a bug in IE 6 or i have to make some changes

to the code.

I would appreciate your help.

Good Morning Inamul

You can control that by using CSS, i previously had a problem with a gridview showing and fading at the end.

<style type="text/css" >

/* Style to target IE 6 */
.styleForListWrapper
{
height: 50px;
}
.Auto_Scroll
{
height:Auto

/* Override styles for IE 7 / Mozilla */
html>body .styleForListWrapper
{
height: auto;
min-height: 5px;
}
.Auto_Scroll
{
height:Auto

}
</style>

have you have a problem with your height , make it Auto so that it will not be limited.

Hope my example makes sense

Thanks, I was able to resolve this problem. It was actually quite strange i have 5 extra Break Tags <BR> at the and of the page that was create problem.
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
These 5 extra break tags where only showing 5 lines of the page after refresh or paging throught grid view in IE6 only.

Once i removed these extra <BR> from the end of the page everthing was working fine in IE6. While i had no problem in IE 7 and above with these break tags

I dont know why this was happning why break tag where behaving stranbly in IE6.

Thanks for your TIP i will try you CSS also.
