Getting different port number in browser and taskbar

Hi,

Why some times i am getting different port numbers while running the application

As in browser url it shows: http://localhost:8454/performanceteam.aspx
But in task bar icon it shows: ASP.Net Development Server - port 1700

Some times -- due to this my project is not running.
During that time - i used to check the task bar port number and change the same in browser TO RUN.

Why its happening ?
