How to Install IIS in window 7 home basic

i am unable to install iis in window 7 home basic (i have purchased dell machine and this os is install on this machin)
i will also turn on window feature in control panel>program option and theWindows Features dialog box, click Internet Information Servicesand then click OK
but iis not work it gives "404" handler error when i typing 'http://localhost' on web browser so please help me as soon as possible.

Hey, open run dialog box and type command "inetmgr" and hit OK.

One window opens for iis, you need to start services in that.

Hi Hiren, I have done exactly what you have said. But the IIS windows is not opening. It shows some error message
"Windows cannot find 'inetmgr'. Make sure you types the name correctly, and then try again. "

Is it because the operating system is Windows 7 home basic?
