hello
i was wondering if there was a way to save just the file path to the database and not the entire file itself because some of the files may be too large.
thanks in advance.

ya, it is.
make some directory in application itself. i.e. make Image folder in application root directory and put all image files in it.
store their path like "Image/Image1.gif" in database instead of whole file.

hope you got what i mean...!!!
