how can i prevent the edit action in textbox?

Hi,

Here is i am having requirment like this. in newinvoice if i select company name corresponding to that companyname customeraddress also displayed automatically. when the executiontime customeraddress it wont be deleted or modified are no changes by the customer.how can i prevent this.please do the needful.

ur qestion is not clear..
R u want the user to prevent from editing in textbox means u can try this
make textbox property to ReadOnly="TRUE"

Hi,

If you do not want to allow edit action to any controls make those controls readonly.

Hi,

Do you want to prevent edit in textbox? if so set "ReadOnly" property.

If you want to display address you can use lable .

Hi ,

If you want to make TextBox NonEditable than go to the TextBox property and make the property ReadOnly

true by default it is false.
