master page in web Application [Resolved]

hi,
Normally we create a master page for web application

we can create more than one master page for one web application,it is correct or not.
unless we create one master page for application.

Of course you can create more than one master page for a web application.

It is according to your use.

The above link will give you a good idea.

the link is about nested master page.

if you want to use separate master page for separate web page groups it is also possible and it is very simple. You have to follow the usual procedure of adding master page and content page. thats all..

we can create more than one master page for one web application.....
Master pages allow you to create a consistent look and behavior for all the pages (or group of pages) in your web application.
Have extension as .Master

You can create multiple master pages to define different layouts for different parts of your site, and a different set of content pages for each master page.
