how to change installation path sql server 2005 give steps setps

"I have install sql server 2005 but my default path not in up memory than error ocuure then i m try to chnage installation path sql 2005 setps but it's not chage it give automatically default.reply me with steps

do you mean to ask that you have installed SQL 2005 on you server and it took default installation path but due to memory shortage you want to change the installation location on your disk?

while you install the sql server, it gives you an option to change the installation location, else it takes the default path in C: drive.
If you need your sql to be taken to some other drive, you need to install it again on your custom path and need to recreate the databases on the new installation. you can either take the backup of all the DB's and restore them on the new location or else you can just detach the files and attach them to the new server instance.
