File Upload Completion Status.

Hi All,
I have a multiple file upload control where i want to display a vertical bar(or some thing) to display the status - percentage of my file/files(total content) while uploading in to database.

Eg: 1. We see this during uploading our images in Orkut, 2. while including any attachments in to a mail, etc.,
How would i do this?
I would appreciate for the reply in detail.
