Events Are Not appear in property window. What is the problem?

I am new to WPF.
I am using vs.net 2008, .net framework 3.5 service pack 1.
When i am trying to execute simple program, but events options is not appear in the property window?
May be what is the reason? Plz send me?

I that version of WPF you could not double click and the event handler gets created. That happens in wpf 4 and the new 5 i am not mistakingly. but what you need to do is to create the events in the xaml yourself just type "Click="NamesoftheEvent" , the intellisense might guide you

Can I download any new version of WPF to appear the events?
What can i do to appera events in properties window?
