How to display & increase percentage in Process bar simultaneously running at background.

Hi Friends,

I like to show the process bar while any process is running simultaneously Like:

In a module when if i generate every new business -
it's relevant commission will be posted to agents.
and 5 different type of invoices will be generated using crystal report.

So, I like to show the process bar when the user click on "create new business" button.

I need to know how to display the process bar & show the percentage completed so for - when
my actual process is running at the same time.

Hope i have to use thread concept.
