What is Black Box and White Box Testing?

Black box testing : This tests are based on requirements and functionality.Internal system design is not considered in this type of testing.

White box testing – This testing is based on knowledge of the internal logic of an application’s code. Also known as Glass box Testing. Internal software and code working should be known for this type of testing. Tests are based on coverage of code statements, branches, paths, conditions

White Box Testing:Means testing the application with
coding /programming knowledge.That means the tester has to
correct the code also.

Black box testing:testing the application without
coding /programming knowledge that means the tester doesn't
require coding knowledge.Just he examines the appliaction
external fucntional beheaviour and GUI features.

White Box Testing:
White-box testing (also known as clear box testing, glass box testing, transparent box testing, and structural testing) is a method of testing software that tests internal structures or workings of an application, as opposed to its functionality

Black Box Testing:
Black-box testing is a method of software testing that examines the functionality of an application without peering into its internal structures or workings.

The following techniques:
BVA (Boundary Value Analysis)
ECP (Equivalence Class Partitioning)
Decision Tables
STF (State Transition flows)
Error Guessing
