Silverlight and WCF - Missing XmlElement

Hi,

I need to save some data in the database from my Silverlight application in xml format for which I am trying to use LINQ and WCF. When I try to save data in xml fomat, the proxy class which is generated throws an error that XmlElement is not present in System.Xml namespace.

Can anyone let me know if there is a workaround or alternative to using XmlElement. In the database, the column has Xml data type.
