sql server trigger update database

Hi,

I used trigger my database, i want to modify my trigger, where i can update my trigger in sql server management studio.

Hi Ramesh,

Use SP_HelpText to get the script of the existing trigger in the database.
if you have the name of the trigger then follow the following steps:
(1) SP_HELPTEXT <Your Trigger Name>
(2) Copy the Script and modify it as per your requirement then change the Create Statement to Alter and execute. It will modify your trigger.
if you need to check the existing triggers in the database then use this query
SELECT name FROM SYSOBJECTS WHERE xtype='tr'

there are two options
under database --> programmability --> database triggers
under a table in database --> triggers
