Hi,
Get Installation Date and Compare with Current Date.

A common way to create a trial is to limit usage days to say 20/30. You can do this by storing (maybe in registry) the current date when the software is first run (or during installation). Then check whether the limit has passed everytime your software runs.

For a readymade system which does this, see CryptoLicensing (http://www.ssware.com/cryptolicensing/cryptolicensing_net.htm ) - it also has other scenarios like max executions, max runtime in minutes, etc

hello,
according to my view you can fire a trigger(create trigger in this way http://www.dotnetfunda.com/articles/article2129-implementation-of-trigger.aspx ) on every new user registration and getdate of it, and then compare the current date with that time when user had registered
