problem in cropping image using JCROP

Hi All,
i am able to crop the image before uploading it. but the problem is tht if the image is bigger, it will cover the whole page so cropping is not done properly. the other thing is tht how can i achive the visual effect same as in facebook while cropping the image. or other suggestions are welcome...
