Set Credentials for Website

Hi,

I have an asp.net web site. Which is hosted in IIS. If any one access that site i need to set credentials.

like, if any one open that site in browser, before opening that site it should ask credentials(username,Password).

Once user entered that credentials then that site will be opened. How to do this?

0	Venku, As suggested by Hariinakoti, You can use a login page as a default page. Login page is considered as one of the standard and classic method of providing access rights to any websites. In order to increase the security, you can use Membership in asp.net. Make use of Roles in your website so as to provide different access rights to different types of users like Admin,Moderator,User,Registered User etc...
