C# code to track the order status in online shopping cart site?

hi frnds,
Am currently working on shoping cart(using asp.net)..in this online shoping site i need to implement a functionality of order tracking.to know the order status.by this functionality cstomer can track and ckeck their order status in the site....

please help me...how can i incorporate this functionality in my site...

please give me some idea/source code to do this....

0	I think for that you have to maintain a database where you can keep the status of all the order, like suppose someone ordered an order of 10 products. Now when that order is dispatched that information must be inserted in that database.You can also manually that.
