I have worked on ASP.net 4 and Linq with SQL...i don know whether I have worked on MVC design pattern.
So can yu please clear me what is meant by MVC design pattern?

a)has separate option for asp.net mvc 3 and asp.net web application..both different it shows..wht it is?
b)I have worked with 3 tier architecture.physical(view),dataaccesslayer(model),businesslayer(controller).
so shall i say i have worked on MVC?

In MVC3,we are using 2 types Vies
1) Razor View Engine
2)Aspx
he view engine is responsible for creating HTML from your views. Views are usually some kind of mixup of HTML and a programming language. The pattern behind most of these is called two-step view.
For example, ASP.NET comes with its own view engine out of the box. That is the one where views have lots of tags like <% %> and <%: %>. It uses the .aspx file extension.
With ASP.NET MVC3, another out-of-the-box view engine was added, Razor, which has a more appealing syntax, e.g. <div>@Model.UserName</div>.
