Excel gerneration using OWC

How do we work with excel files using OWC in ASP.NET and C#.

Following are the requirements.

1) I need to create the columns & rows dynamically from database.
2) I need to protect some rows and unprotect some rows.
3) I need to hide some columns.
4) I need to read the values from some columns.

0	Hi, you could check out GemBox.Spreadsheet .NET spreadsheet library. http://www.gemboxsoftware.com/GBSpreadsheet.htm Reading from database is trivial with export/import Excel file to DataTable. http://www.gemboxsoftware.com/LA/Import-Export-DataTable-XLS-XLSX-CSV-HTML-.NET.htm Your other requirements are also supported within one method call to our library. Additional features include read/write XLS, XLSX, ODS, CSV from same programming model and independence of Excel for fast reading & writing and for server side usage. Reading from database is trivial with export/import Excel file to DataTable.
