browser issue

hi friends

In my button click,i opened two browser window seperately,now i want to open the two tab in same browser window instead of open two window seperately(IE only)...


can any one help?

Saravanan,

I am afraid there is no way to do this. Opening new links in either a browser windows or a tab is a setting that only the user can set:

There are also various shortcut keys which the user can use on a per link basis like middle (mouse wheel) clicking on a link but again these are not controlled by the website scripting.

Actually it seems like I might have jumped the gun on this one.

I just did a bit more research and according to this thread:

Right at the bottom it says set your target to _newtab like

<a href="page.html" target="_newtab">click</a>



I haven't tested this myself though so I dont know if it works... Good luck!
