Hi Gopal,

There are number of ways to play the video. Below are some of the ways to play video

1. Using The <embed> Tag
<embed src="videoFileName.avi" />

2.Using The <object> Tag
<object data="videoFileName.avi" type="video/avi" />

3.Using A Hyperlink
<a href="videoFileName.avi">Play a video file</a>

Hope this will help you

Thanks and Regards,
Kumar

WMV is a Microsoft file format. Browser support is not available for this file type.

You can go for plugins to support all types of video files.

I would recomment you to get Flash based video player plugins. Since it support all types of video files rather than getting window media player based plugins.

Mark this as answer, if it is.....

Hey

Can you please provide some more information like what platform you are developing on?

asp.net, winforms, wpf etc?

The method is different but probably one common way that you can do this is to embed a flash control into all of these technologies.

If you are wokring on a desktop technology then I would probably look into embedding Windows Media Player.

Also can you please expand on "stored in another system". Is this something on a local network or via another webserver?
