Hi

View state is a client side state management technique.
View state stores the values in the html hidden fields.
These values are present only in the page level.

EnableViewState is an attribute that is available to almost all asp.net server controls. If you set its value to true; the viewstate will be created for that control so that when postback occurs the control will maintain its state. If its value is set to false, the control will be in its default state when postback occurs.
