hi genious,
i have taken a textbox on the form,on lostfocus of the textbox i want to show calendar control & the selected date should appear in the textbox.how would i do that?
help plzzzzzzzzzz!

TextBox.Text = calendar.SelectedDate.ToShortDateString();

So during the SelectionChanged of the calendar, you might place the selected date in the Textbox.

but I strongly think it is unnecessary to use normal Aspnet calendar control. I dont like it. rather I would think you can go for some Javascript calendar.

Google Javascript Calendar control, and you will find a lots of them.

thnx abhi, i dont want to display calendar at run time before the user clicks on textbox so i think it is better to use in that way. i don't know about the javascript calander.tell me more.......

I think it is always better to go for Javascript calendars.

Calendar controls doesnt need to have its implementation in server side. If you use client end calendars, it will be lighter and will save your resources.

Use YUI calendar, search in google. Its good.

I think it would be better if you mark as resolved if you found the answer. Because unnecessarily looking in to the resolved forum may kill the time.
