difference between File->New->Project and File->New->Website?

1.File->New->Project
OR
2.File->New->Website?

If it is asked to you to do simple Insert,update,delete with asp.net.then what to use?

The Website does not have a solution explorer. But what you do in one you can do in another. The Website option also allow you to open html websites or asp classic websites without having a solution file. i remember that in TFS in order to have builds you needed to have a solution file and if you project did not have that, you could not create builds. but the best option between the two is the "New Project" and then select "Web Application"
