What's the difference between Response.Write() andResponse.Output.Write()?

Response.write() don't give formatted output.

The latter one allows you to write formatted output.

Eg:

Response.Write("<h1>Hello Mr. " + UserName + "</h1>");

Response.Output.Write("<h1>Hello Mr. {0}</h1>", UserName);
