how will I print and scan barcode from my web application

Dear All,
Can anyone help me out how will I print and scan barcode from my web application developed in VS2008,c#,asp.net3.5.I have to create a string like"12345" for barcode and barcode printer will print that string with image.How would I connect my web application with barcode printer and scanner.

0	HI, One way to print/scan the Barcode is apply the Special fonts such as IDAutomation to the text to be barocoded. One thing to do is the font should be installed in the path C:/Windows/Fonts folder in the server as well as in the Local machine. I hope this helps. Regards, Easwaran. 0	Hey! You just need to add the barcode generation component in your web application. Then, if you use the component to generate barcodes which can automatically connect to your web application. Try one from Onbarcode, and add the dll to your webapplication and you can get what you want.Here is a .NET barcode generator dll http://www.onbarcode.com/products/net_barcode/ for you which maybe the one you need.
