See following code

<script type="text/javascript">

<!--
function myPopup() {
window.open( "http://www.google.com/" )
}
//-->
</script>

<input type="button" onClick="myPopup()" value="POP!">

In the above code, there is a JavaScript function named myPopup and that function is being called on the button click event. When you click the button, Google.com website will be opened. There are several parameter too in window.open and by passing those parameter you can control the size, toolbars etc of the browser window.

Thanks
