I go back to this article all the time - every time I read it I learn something new.
The guy who wrote it also has a blog www.joshsmithonwpf.wordpress.com that is worth reading.
He's also put out a book that is almost a continuation of the article that I have found to be really helpful in showing how MVVM can be used.
If your into WPF at all I can fully recommend Mole as a great tool - it makes debugged easier www.molosoft.com

Cheers!
