i i am insert a record to database 1 as well as i have to update it in database 2. i have declared connection pooling for both databases . i am struck here how to do next. if any error in bth insert and update transaction has to be rolled back for both please help me out

You can use transaction scope. Create a method to insert and create another method to update. Call both method inside a parent method wrapped with transaction scope.
